SUMMARY: While on Patrol and monitoring traffic on I89 (Southbound) a black SUV passed by Officer Gardner and Office Oliver of the Royalton Police Department at the MM 25 U-Turn without a Vermont State inspection and bearing a Vermont Temporary registration.
A traffic stop was initiated, and all occupants of the vehicle were identified. The operator of the vehicle Kurtis Marcy's Vermont Driver's license status was check revealing an active Vermont Warrant for his arrest for failing to appear in Vermont Superior Court - Windsor County - Criminal Division on 3-36-2024.
Marcy was taken into custody for the warrant, transported to the Royalton Police Department for processing, cited to appear in Vermont Superior Court - Windsor County - Criminal Division on 4-8-2024 at 12:30 PM, and transported to Southern State Correctional Facility pending Marcy posting bail. |

SUMMARY: Responding to the Vermont Law School for a suspicious a male wearing a Grey Hoodie blue jean and a trash bag and possibly under the influence and walking towards the village green.
A male fitting the description was observed trying to enter the Black Lives Matter building on Railroad Street by Officer Gardner. The person walked away from Officer Gardner and was later located and identified as Brandin Durkee.
A check of Durkee's information resulted in an Active Vermont warrant for Durkee's arrest.
Durkee was taken into custody and transported to Vermont Superior Court - Windsor County - Criminal Division to be brought in front of a Judicial Officer. |
